St. Jude Parish Mission Statement:

We, the community of St. Jude, commit ourselves to Jesus Christ, our Savior, His teachings and the Tradition of the Roman Catholic Church. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we embrace and nurture our culturally diverse community through worship, evangelization, renewal and service.

Mission of St. Jude SYYAM:

We, the youth and young adults of the Catholic Church, seek Christ Centered Unity (1 Cor 12:12) for all youth despite affiliations with Parish, Creed, School, Ethnicity and region through love of the Eucharist (John 6:53), true to Devotion to Mary (Luke 1:28), instilling of family values and unceasing prayer (1 Thes 5:17) made manifest in corporal and spiritual works of mercy (Matthew 25:31) in the parish and beyond...

Preamble of SYYAM:

We, the SHWAY CORPS believe that by instilling a need for regular silence, prayer and mortification culminated in Adoration of the Eucharist and Marian Devotion through weekly community, implementation of spiritual exercises and opportunities to perform works of mercy, that participants will be disposed to exponential growth in grace, virtue, reception of the gifts of the spirit, knowledge of God and self, a desire to do God's will and perpetual docility to the spirit which becomes indicative with visible abundance of the fruits of the spirit, ultimately becoming manifest in corporal and spiritual works of mercy.
